        Maryland State Police Press Release 04/28/2015 14:51   GOVERNOR HOGAN MOBILIZES STATE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT BALTIMORE CITY LAW ENFORCEMENT RESPONSE   THE MARYLAND NATIONAL GUARD, STATE POLICE AMONG STATE AGENCIES WITH DEPLOYED RESOURCES    REISTERSTOWN, Md. (April 28, 2015) – Governor Larry Hogan and Maryland officials continue to coordinate the State’s response to violent civil unrest that has occurred in Baltimore City over the past day, and has included over 200 arrests and at least 19 structure fires. Maryland agencies are working together at the State Emergency Operations Center, which has been fully activated at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency since this past weekend’s demonstrations, in order to provide support to Baltimore City and manage State actions.

    CREDIBLE THREAT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT   Baltimore, Maryland - April 27, 2015 - The Baltimore Police Department / Criminal Intelligence Unit has received credible information that members of various gangs including the Black Guerilla Family, Bloods, and Crips have entered into a partnership to "take out" law enforcement officers.     This is a credible threat.   Law enforcement agencies should take appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of their officers.
